For this project, my goal was to create a symbol that conveys a deeply human connection, emphasizing the essence of person-to-person interaction. The product is designed to facilitate sharing music, primarily through analog formats such as vinyl and CDs, so it was crucial that the brand reflect the tactile, personal nature of this exchange. To capture this, I chose to depict a hand offering a CD, a gesture instantly recognizable as an act of sharing. This imagery draws from personal nostalgia, reminiscent of the way friends once shared music by physically handing over a CD. The design serves as a direct, relatable representation of distribution and interaction, reinforcing the product’s core mission of fostering connection through music.
